    Poem Commentary

    Is anyone else tired of metaphors that seem to pull an 'Inception' and go further than you care to go. Sure, there are sometimes in which you'll read something and go, "WHAT JUST HAPPENED TO MY MIND!?" because you just realized what you read could mean something differently entirely. However, I'm just tired of my English Class and the in-depth literary analysis where we rip through classic cadavers of contexts and devour them like vultures.

     This Poem is a metaphor
    of a metaphor you've heard before,
    once forgotten, now explored
    A metaphor of a metaphor,
    of a metaphor, so on, so forth,
    now deluded, thus restored,
    You may question what's the reason for
    BUT IT'S JUST A FREAKING METAPHOR
