2 Kings 4:1-7
What's to ask the oil jar,When trouble comes like death
And in the bottom of the glass
There's toil in emptiness
To sell thy kin is only choice
But faith is work sincere
To risk a loss so greater still
When grace just isn't there
So gather jars, he says to her
Who on her heart is pleaded
And community is offered up
As jars is all that's needed
A jar is but an empty thing
Yet so many gave and wondered
And like her faith, pervaded full
When one became a hundred
Sell, he said, those empty jars
For all those jars are full
An empty debt brings only death
But the Lord o'r flows the soul.
