    Poem Commentary

Okay... this one got out of hand... It started simply with a pun of the title, but I couldn't think of any plot that seemed twisted... So, I rambled on and on... Maybe it characterizes the ankle, I don't know... I just know that I don't, and that simply sums up this poem...

    Twisted

What cruel world may inhabit mine
when all I've known's lost form
well maybe not so, but it feels as though
my life has left it's norm
    No longer near, but distant
    What cruelty that's existed
For what started with me, has span out to be
A treacherous task of the twisted

It started as most things might
and in what would seem an honest way
then an accident occurs, and without another word
the terror trys to ruin my day
And in truth or in fact
or in adrenaline or in spite
(it may have been false and a lack of fore-sight)
And everyone says it'll be alright

    A world out of order
    across from it's border
    insanity smiles
    running for miles
    can't take a break
    it finally breaks
    can't take the stress
    give it my best
    best doesn't take
    it finally breaks
    it wasn't my fault
    thought into my vault
    of my mind
    one of a kind
    never been done
    never was fun

    The following message
    was sent to the brain
    it came from the ankle
    who was twisted in pain...

This is very cool, enjoying your humor, as well as the rythem and flow of your poem! Great Job!

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
