    THE FALLING DOWN OF COMPASSION

You fell down from progressive heavenly quarters,
Seeking to achieve required earthly dominion.
Your territory extends beyond all known borders,
Giving immediate assistance to society’s misfits.
Attending without prescribed reservations or delayed orders,
Practicing experimental medicine with extraordinary benefits.

    Hearts and Spirits you’ve changed,
    As you extend your hand
To those that required your unwavering acts.

    Known simply as Compassion,
    The one long forgotten,
    Falling,
    On a Journey,
    Slowly coming back.

Great description and use of words to relay the importance of a quality that goes with the territory of God's love. If we have the love of God, compassion is inevitable. We love because He first loved us. Blessed are the merciful, for they will obtain mercy; so it is with compassion. Gotta keep giving back. Beautiful poem.

Compassion will live in my heart forever. I have had a fair share of it by many! Thank you for sharing God's business and beautiful work! You are such a blessing to me.

It is compassion that let us realize that we are obligated to extend the same compassion that was afforded us.

Once again, God inspired. So great is his love and compassion for us. So undeserving we are to recieve it.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
