JUNE 25TH 2009 THE DAY MICHAEL JACKSON AND THE MOON WALK DIED

JUNE 25TH 2009:

THE DAY MICHAEL JACKSON

AND THE MOON WALK DIED

All the news channels hesitated to report that the Moon Walk was dead,

While the fans were put at ease by listening to his music playing in the background,

Most holding quiet as they recited the favorites in their head.

Then one of the national networks reported, it’s true, The King is dead!

From that moment, I realized that the Moon Walk was gone forever-

Motown 25 was now the reference point of greatness never to be repeated again.

The way Michael walked backwards from down-stage left, across to the other side.

The way he kept bringing in the new trends again and again.

The way he and his four brothers would always be the Jackson Five.

Now Gone, as he goes to Moon Walk on the other side.

Orson, I cannot accept that he is dead. I am a huge fan of Mike's. I love the tribute that you have composed for him. Thank you for taking the time and sharing this brilliant piece. He will forever live in our hearts. None like him, none!

I just had to write what I was feeling about Mr. Jackson. I grew up on his music, and I enjoyed his gifts that he provided on this earth.

Nice tribute to M.J. It will be a difficult job for anyone to fill his shoes. I think he has touch all our lives in some way.

I am now just starting to accept that he is dead. He was a wonderful talent. Thank you for reading tis tribute.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
