THE COVENANT OF A FEW
The relationship that lasted ten years and some days,
Now ending before the vows were taken and lived.
Brings forth great questions and tossed them into a daily haze,
As they moved to discover the things they would give,
Only if they’d entered a covenant of matrimony and lived.
Feelings and emotions reserved only for marriage,
Now exploring and counting their sinful days.
As they moved to discover the things they would give,
Only if they’d entered a covenant of matrimony and lived.
