    ANXIOUS TO BE GOD

    They cloned the sheep that GOD created,
    In an attempt to produce a more better master piece.
    They performed abortions as a form a birth control,
    In an attempt to slow down the human race.
    They took GOD out of the struggling school day,
    In an attempt to validate a more scientific curriculum.
    They divided the Christian Kingdom with denominations,
    In an attempt to create a more exclusive brotherhood.
    They gave GOD an undesired political affiliation,
    In an attempt to elect their self purpose.
    They gave GOD a defined sexual identity,
    In an attempt to make Him choose a preference.


    They the ones Anxious To BE GOD,
    In an attempt to make Him less than Humans.

    Excellent, when will we(meaning mankind) stop meddling. We're cloning, aborting,tossing prayer out of our lives and our schools,denying the Savior. My church is no longer a member of the diocese because one leader said there were more ways into heaven than Christ. (For the record he could not name one) We breach the heavens and still haven't done enough. Will it ever stop or will we be stopped. Excellent poem. We all better take heed.

    WOW! You nailed this one, orsonav! So true. It angers me when I see man's hands meddling with so much of God's creation, going against His plan, trying to play God. You're seeing it more and more everyday. Excellent poem! I definitely give it a 10!
