    I CRIED UNTO GOD

To let tears fall from my face with purpose of some release,

Just hoping that God would hear my cry and rush to rescue me.

Waiting for the time He will boldly command it all to part and cease,

While I pray, meditate, and hope on those better days to see.

I cried unto God because I simply could not bare it all.

Knowing that He hears the softest cry with His wondrous waiting ear.

Requesting that He jump on in to prevent this elongated, serious fall.

Only if my voice makes it close and somehow just inches of being near,

To Him who is able to hold and comfort me with ease, through it all.

It's really pretty. I can really appreciate it since I go to church on Wednesdays. Do you mind if I show this to them. They'll love it. :)

Will He hear today, when he prays, Or will he have to wait another day? He is faithful, He is true, I know He'll answer you real soon! :)) I love your work Orson. It truly blesses my soul!

I am glad that you keep reading my works, and that you keep commenting on my poems. Thank you very much,.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
