Poem Commentary

If you dwell on the past, it can blind you to the future. If you ignore the past, it will become your future.

The Creator Of Tomorrow

What's more important,

the things you did in the past,

or what you do now?

The real beauty of this question is, in asking it, you answer it.

to some extent we are defined by the lessons learned through past actions - thus, the past is important - however, what we do with those lessons going forward is far more so. Past, present, future....we are all stuck in our own timeline and I think it helps us make sense of ourselves, others and the world in general. thought provoking write clown.... 10

sometimes we have to let go of the past in order to fully embrace the future... this may be short, but it's loaded with meaning... write on! ;)

This prompts a question from me to you and all who wonder: Is it more essential to know WHAT tomorrow holds, or WHO holds tomorrow? (btw, not yelling, there's no highlight in this box) 9.999! lol

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
