    So far away from you
    yet here within my thoughts
    I cannot escape
    for you have me like no other

    I am captive
    to an aura of light
    emanating from the spirit
    I have grown to know
    in my dreams

    I am a servant
    unable to resist
    the unyielding power
    of a thirst for your touch
    that overwhelms my thoughts
    and casts me into euphoria

    I am a warrior
    armed with a new will
    to find the inner depths
    of all you hold sacred
    and create infinity

    I am a dreamer
    smiling at the sun
    lifted from the darkness
    and given a chance
    to look existence in the eye
    finding where I fit in the world

    Artie I love it, love it. truly amazing poet you are. My favorite part is "I am a dreamer smiling at the sun lifted from the darkness and given a chance to look existence in the eye finding where I fit in the world." That there is a great message to anyone. Loved it artie great job
