    Trying to find it's way within
    seeking your demise
    On a mission to devour all hope
    to take away your drive

    Looking at the mountain
    so far you must climb
    seeming impossible to reach
    fear enters your mind

    Forced to look once again
    into the demon's uncaring eyes
    forced to risk it all
    on another roll of the dice

    You have proven your will
    and earned your right
    so lift your head up high
    and face this fight

    You are the one I look to
    when I need to be inspired
    possessing a spirit so strong
    you are the one I admire

    When I think of the few
    who have touched my soul
    you are the one who stands out
    for you have the strongest hold

    Don't give in to this fear
    no matter how hard it tries
    I believe in you, and I love you
    you are number one in my eyes

    If I were having issues in my life, and someone wrote this for me, I think this would be the deciding factor in how I were to move forward. Words are powerful, especially when they are genuine. 10, Artie.

    Thx Richard. There is somone in my life that has been facing quite a bit lately, and she's on the edge. I don't know if poems such as this do any good or not, but at the very least, it lets them know that someone cared enough to write it. Glad you enjoyed this one - Latrz
