    Beyond My Grasp

    Relentless I search
    forever I wait alone
    always wanting, you

    Relentless I search
    the prison within my mind
    contains all I know

    Relentless I search
    an endless mountain of dreams
    has led me to you

    Relentless I search
for the right words that reveal
    my feelings for you

    Relentless I search
for meaning in my small life
    to face tomorrow

    I search for a way
    seeing you beyond my grasp
    relentless, I search

I love poems that begin and end with the same line.....gives the impression that everything has or will come full circle.......this is devine.

We often find when we cease to seek. Tomorrow will come whether we wish or know.

The relentless accept no limits, which is why they're the ones that make the most progress (see above composition for confirmation of this concept). : )

Artie, this is such a poetic offering to those whose place in life has been challenged by the desire to want and not be able to obtain. Your words are always so piercing. I have been aways for quite sometime and now I am slowly getting back to my own self. Thank you for sharing...God bless~

It seems like there is always something just beyond our reach. Thank you for reading my work

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
