    The Woods of Perpetual Darkness

     I run into the darkness to escapre reality
    I'm caught in a dream of perpertual fantasy
    no light to guide my prevailing way
    on this path I take through these woods of dismay
    I feeel the evil growing , surrrounding me
    This dark forest it speaks to me
    runnin' in circles, their seems to be no escape
    from this dark nightmare , this grisly fate
    hear the midnight screams, these tormenting dreams
    running through a vacant mind
    When the demons cry, all the silence dies
    and I lose track of the time

    inside the woods of perpetual darkness
    I run to escapre from the heartless
    the bastards that know no light
    the darkness that shadows the moonlight
    I awake from this dream , It feels so real to me
    caught in a perpetual fantasy
    I run out of the darkness to embrace eternity

    This is a place I don't ever want to entertain for more that a few short moments: we can't do much in cursing the darkness, but can employ the presence of Light. A vivd running nightmare, escaping to salvation in the light of hope! applause building!

    I think the darkness in this piece is metaphorical for life's obstacles and unwanted turn of events. Our struggles. that is what I get from this one anyway. Maybe I'm way off.
