    What an awesome God we have that loves us so much

    To God Be the Glory

     The world knows His story
    How a king came to rise to glory
    God's son faced those painful spikes
    He was willing to lay down His life

    A death that changed history
    The Love of God which brings victory
    We as christians have prevailed
    Life is painful when it's pierced by nails

    We have seen centuries pass
    We now have a love that will always last
    Dethroned, you never will be
    To God be all the glory

    I'm remembering that look you gave me
    that drop of blood that came to save me
    I'm praying for grace and mercy
    I'm praying for you to forgive me

    I know this road I've travelled
    this mind of mine unravelled
    I know the beauty of pain
    it's in the glory of His name

    so I say to you, this is what I need
    so I pray that you, will plant lifes seed
    watch as it grows, maturing and suitable
    I watch it change into something beautiful

    I watched a king rise to glory
    I was blessed by the story
    although I didnt live in those days
    I knew it was best to change my ways

    To God be the glory
    To God be the grace
    To God be the everything
    in my life that I face
