    Poem Commentary

    Sometimes we think we know who we are, we can't even uncover our won identitys , we then becoem nameless. Are we ashamed by this or are we willing to accept the name we are given.

    Nameless

     Your hair flows like a waterfall
    it's rippled waves over chasms of beauty
    your soul a gorge that hides the life
    and light from your eyes, awakening the dreams    . 

    Your scent embraced with these lips I've tasted
    Your scarlet  stain revealed to the world
    Your medicated mind thats gone astray
    left to blunder the thoughts of yesterday's pain

    For centuries we have stood still
    gazing into the depths of sins trap
    For one thousand hearts have burned
    waiting for the fine line to snap

    If only those eyes could speak of the dreams
    If only that heart would cry a thousand deaths
    If only by chance we all became widows
    widows bitter from dreams we neglect

    Then maybe the score would be even
    maybe for the moment we would wake
    wake to the golden horizion bending her rays
    would we know that it was her smiling

    Please don't go, for you have walked beside me
    all these years and still I don't know your name
    what name could I give you that would fit
    the royal queen of beauty in which you are

    Not just any name, but a name that you would claim
    claim as your very own, supressed deep into your mind
    One surely never forgetten , for who forgets there own
    would one have doubts as if this was a queen's child

    A mother that lived too many years few
    a daughter that grew with only memories
    nameless, would she be restored new
    to the once broken life that became tragedies   

    Only her heart could say nothing
    for no mouth it had to speak
    was the love of a mother wilting with dreams
    once strong she was, now she appeared weak

    What had become of those dreams
    the ones she held, the ones she embraced
    had they been swept away with the tide
    had they been inside dying , suffocating from pride

    She could not forgive, sixteen years with no name
    what then did her mother call her, did she call her shame?
    Could she not come to grasps that this child was hers
    could she not even say those few simple words

    My child your name is Bliss, for thats what I held
    when I bore you my dear child
    My child your name is this, the joy one recieves
    when a new life bears her first smile

    That's really good, dark but still really beautiful. I love the imagery, could picture it all :-) very good write!
