    for everyone thats ever loved or felt loves passion, only to feel it tearing away

    Sewing Our Hearts Together

     It seems I've sowed our hearts together ,
    I wanted this love to last forever
    now the stitches are old and worn
    you never embrace me when I'm torn

    I told you again and again that I loved you
    yet you never even smiled
    was this way your of saying it's over
    I wan't nothing else, only you 

    So I tried so hard to pick up the shattered pieces
    but this endeavor has carried on too long
    I see you ripping those stiches open wide
    do you not see the twinkle in my eyes

    How hard is it to say, three simple words
    are you ashamed to be seen with me
    do I not make you feel special, is that what it is
    why you won't accept my heart

    all these years, I laid it all down
    you were my princess , I wore your crown
    all these years , I tried to understand
    yet you never wanted to hold my hand

    I thought I felt something, it felt so right
    I saw the sparks ignite , did I imply the wrong sign
    I never thought it would end this way
    sewing our hearts together, only to be ripped away

    ripped away from this cold, cruel world
    love was hanging from the lips of unembraced hearts
    the weight of the world crushing my core
    was this the end of everything, what had I held before

    such a long time to be so uncertain of her heart....I've been picking out my own unfortunate stitches as well, and it is a difficult and eye-opening process. great write winter!
