    The Power of Praise

    Underneath an angels wings I take refuge from the dark
    the demons light their torches with evils igniting spark
    The holiness of perfection with the covenant of the ark
    as I hear the voices of heaven's choir hark
    the beauty of hymns ring within my ear
    and the praise and jubilation erupt a chanting cheer
    I know with Christ Jesus in my heart, I need not fear
    for the glory of heaven's highest is with me right here

    The power of praise is in the heart of the worshipper
    make choices like heads or tails like the coin flipper
    I see the celestial beauty designed in the big dipper
    I see a bible verse displayed as you pull on your zipper

    the shirt underneath has a verse I've read before
    It reveals the message with a light and open door
    it shows the heart of Jesus with His name written in blood
    it displays John 3:16 and all the world that He loved
    I read on and discover the holy throne above
    and I pray that I'll find peace like a dove

    The power of praise and the power of grace
    we choose to follow God with our heavenly faith
    We choose to take the path not of the disgraced
    We believe in the ones who have joined the race

    the race against time, the race to chase glory for the divine
    the race for the trophy that glitters and shines
    but to take it to heaven, I can't claim it as mine
    cuz' we cannot take our treasures through the door
    maybe we can purchase them in heaven's store
    The power of praise can conquer hate and war

    Endless is this mission to glory I chase
    to endure the perfection of the holy face
    to drink of the streams flowing of grace
    and to feel the power of the almighty praise

    could not say it better bro...Endless is this mission to glory I chase to endure the perfection of the holy face to drink of the streams flowing of grace and to feel the power of the almighty praise...thank you for this share.....i relate to it a lot.
