Life-Death 6 - Cry for Ascension
What means are justified by the ends of eternal life?Never knowing death, never feeling rest, only the
sharp pain of loss!
All that you love slowly rots, and you are always wanting
to find a way to join the decay.
"Few have the stamina for immortality"; truer words have
never been spoken, because as the eons creep away ,so does
your sanity.
You realize that God Himself is the only true bestower of
eternal life, but He is as atainable to you now a clemency
for a hanged man.
There is no life, no death, only existence coupled with a
pain-ravaged, image-ridden mind of faces and feelings.
Father, forgive me. I know I will never gaze on the
beautiful, far shore; never be at peace; never see the day
when I can cast my eyes on the faces of all those I have
loved and long missed.
I go now into the only thing I know; the dark, cold world
of breathing men. To take another life and quench another
thirst that will never, like myself, cease to exist...
