Seeing things the way most people don't.
Hearing things with an objective ear.
Why does it matter if things don't go the
way you expect?
If God wanted life to be easy, then He
would have made us all perfect.
Who is the person to make you understand?
Is it your mother, father,
teacher, the President? Or is it simply
you? The self-awareness that comes
knowing life's toils and pains are here to stay,
no matter what you say or do to stop them.
In every aspect, there proves to be some
type of non-cohesive agent that will
help things fall apart.
Pleasure and pain, joy and sorrow,
love and hate; these are the things that make
us all wish that we could have a do-over.
Working on creating a new personality
is as easy as trying to pull a tooth
from a sleeping lion.
Most people can't see that the anger that
is your only saviour cannot be simply
squashed like the everyday beetle underfoot.
In the days before death, there always seems to
be an effervescent flow of visions and
nuances that no one else sees.
We are taught that there is life beyond this
world, but do we really choose to believe it?
Only on our death-bed can we see the light.
Hard choices, easy solutions, everyday bullshit;
this is life in general for most of mankind,
though it's hard for some to deal.
What choices do we need to make to step up
our game and live life to the fullest without
worrying about the repurcussions?
Poor, innocent, unwanted, destitute;
this is the way we look at life when it becomes
to hard to deal with.
When is it okay to just sit back and watch life go
by as we rest on our laurels and take another
sip from the snifter?
All mankind will have to eventually
find some recourse from the hell that we
have wrought on ourselves.
For some, it will be the hard choices,
for others, the easy solutions, but for
the rest of us it is just everyday bullshit.
