You were the music in my life
and now the music is turned down low
There is no reason left to dance

You always took my breath away
but now that you are gone
I have no reason left to breath

You were the apple of my eye
but I can't see you any more
My life is dark and I am blind

When we were together
you always made me whole
Now I am half the man I used to be

When I was feeling down
one look at you could make me smile
Now I've fallen and can't get up

But there is still music in my life
and though the music is down low
There's a chance someone will turn it up

Breath life into my body
Open my eyes that I might see
Make me twice the man I ever was
and dance with me
