Cornerstones
Full moon shining down upon melighting up the sky above
Romance all around to see
and I drown myself in love
As long as there is someone there
to bring to me the breath of life
Just be carefull and be aware
of those who might twist the knife
The ones who base their own success
on the bodies they have left behind
Mutilated and a senseless mess
left out for someone else to find
So the guilty may claim innocence
of this horrendous crime
expounding upon their ignorance
and blaming all others in time
So question all you see or hear
Due diligence is key
Keep the ones you trust most near
with fealty and honesty the fee
Don't let the guilty just walk away
but hold them to full account
Denounce them then make them pay
a horrendously large amount
Their money is the cornerstone
of the empire they construct
upon a weak foundation prone
to crumble and self destruct
When this empire falls into disrepair
bring in dynomite and a wrecking ball
Don't even bother to despair
for invitably it was made to fall
When it falls sweep it aside
and put in a new foundation
with a cornerstone you need not hide
but celebrate in its creation
So learn from history and don't make
the same mistakes over and again
Share the knowledge that you may take
and expound upon successes of other men
