    This Rose

     This lovely rose I give to you
    So much more than it seems to be
    Inhale its sweet aroma true
    Bringing you memories of me

    A replica of one once given me
    By you my dearest friend
    A message sent which shall always be
    Cherishwd to lifes end

    Its petals sgall never wilt away
    Nor fall down to the ground
    Long lasting to show you every day
    Just how much love abounds

    I sought to gift you more than this
    But couldn't find that which showed
    How much I worship this lifelong bliss
    Upon me which you've bestowed

    So take from me this lovely rose
    Hold it gently to your heart
    Then raise it up for all to know
    Our love is strong even when apart

    Cherishwd to lifes end Cherished to life's end some typos in this line. And was it supposed to say a "petals shall"? petals' stall? But I love all the art of it. You clearly are writing poetry and not just throwing line breaks randomly. You give me hope for more social media poets. And a lovely token to a love(r)
