Battle Cry
No want nor will to justifythose guilty pleasures tasted
We did our best to satisfy
that our lives not be wasted
Free love was our battle cry
We did not want to fight
All of us too young to die
so some of us took flight
Some went to warof their free will
and to this day are feeling pained
Knowing they were forced to kill
for nothing to be gained
We hid that pain deep down inside
to keep intact our sanity
This pain we tried so hard to hide
from our friends and family
Body counts grow even after war
They grow for years on end
Bodies hurt, souls soaked in gore
it's a wonder some vets ever mend
