Alone
Shared with all this agony
of two souls torn apart.
Conceived of pain and misery,
inked in the blood of a broken heart.
Memories we no longer share.
Words that we no longer say.
The little things to show we care
no longer come to play.
So now I sit alone and think
of all I had then threw away.
I pour myself another drink,
to hide the pain of the price I pay...
one soul left alone
