Too Far
I’m four miles farther than I should’ve been
The view was nice
My companions fine
They needed a ride to destiny
I talked it up and raved about my plans
Of what I was going to do there
I even called and told all my friends
But I’m almost out of gas
My car doesn’t turn properly
Even with enough fuel I can’t drive in reverse
All I know is I’m four miles too far
I drove past my turn
I thought I could go back
Who knows it could be closed when I got there!
