Second hand blessings
No thank you I like what I’ve got,
It’s mine,
I chose it,
It feels pure,
There’s no other people shine,
On my great blessing of hope,
I found it myself alone;
No visible prints of those who downed me,
They said wait they’re better than you,
It’s small convenient perfect I say,
Not a bit of used condescension,
Nor discarded and thrown in the trash,
It is what it is not the second thought;
No thank you I’ll find my own happiness,
I’m proud of what I’ve got you know,
No need for guidance or lessons of life,
Honestly I’m better than the whole damned thing,
Better than the whole damned that,
To reiterate,
I don’t need secondhand blessings.
