Ode the to Fort Detrick experiments
Ode to the screaming monkeys,Oh how I wish they stayed dead,
No brain craving jungle animals,
Would be scratching at the wood,
The squirrels would come protects,
But they are like the humans they're mixed with,
Cold uncaring it's them not us.
Oh screaming monkeys in my yard
Waiting for a garden watering,
with fangs and gills and extra arms,
the extra eyes disconcerting
I could go get in my car,
But they're waiting out in front,
I'd like to thank the Fort Detrick scientists
who thought biochemical nuclear anthrax
Could be considered safe for all of us!
