Underneath the Spider Webs
Peer up over the edge of the wood,
Beyond the sun’s glow blessing,
Upon the spider’s glimmered strands,
The webs shimmered and delicate,
Above the grass and plant life fertile,
Just above the rabbit hole;
The strands shine upon the spiders ,
busily smugly scampering,
Watching over their forest small,
The ants below go marching,
Bees bunnies and birds hopping along,
To Nature’s silent melody,
Lady bugs of bright red and spots,
Rest merrily on flowers supportive;
The weavers spin the cloth,
That traps the flies and hornets,
Black recluse and widow fear,
The spiders desiring to eat them,
The world appears a magical place,
Alls well above Rabbit land,
All goes according to plan,
Underneath the spider webs.
