    Carousel

    Around then past,

    Upward bound stop down,

    Blurred rainbows in sections,

    Steel horses complimented by poles of steel,

    Flashes of loves lost loves found,

    Flash of devotion ,of spice,

    Flash of time fleeing,

    With more coming behind;

    Out to light ,

    Express given,

    Expression happy,

    Expressing glee;


    Pictures of friends,

    Music perfectly flowing,

    Pictures of books and stage,

    Mirrored on spots unpainted,

    Messages loud destructive cold,

    Leaving coming taking,

    Back again with lighted hope,

    And again to contentment;


    Faster quicker to quickened beat,

    Slowly solemn pace,

    Off we go to wait in line,

    To ride again the ponies.
