    Poetry defined

    Poetry synonymous with praise by written word,

    Release of emotion, thought and spirit,

    Play with letter grammar with a point to all,

    Portraying real and fantasy bold;


    Hopes, dreams and sorrow,

    As one mind’s child,

    Or endless ramblings children many,

    Veiled truth possible,

    Imagination revealed,

    Mystery present always;


    Mental exercise producing gold,

    Single mindedness open mind,

    Eternal prayer in form a tale,

    A journey the journey,

    To another place another plane,

    Path to peace, immortality,

    Our infinity achieved,

    When we are no more.
