Don't
Don't look at me
If you don't know me
If your mouth can't form my name
Don't glance so evil
Because I don't care
When your girlfriend looks away
Be wise and mind your own my friend
My friend that's right we're strangers
Don't act as if I've done you wrong
When you can't speak first
To an acquaintance
Don't think I'm lowering myself
To face your public humiliation
If I walk past again and again
It's not that I don't recognize you
My past moved on without bringing me
So I jumped ahead without it
It's my world now
And you don't exist
Except to stare menacingly
Because I should say
What you refuse to say
But the trouble it would bring
Don't look at me
I won't look back
How tragic to be invisible!
If you don't know me
If your mouth can't form my name
Don't glance so evil
Because I don't care
When your girlfriend looks away
Be wise and mind your own my friend
My friend that's right we're strangers
Don't act as if I've done you wrong
When you can't speak first
To an acquaintance
Don't think I'm lowering myself
To face your public humiliation
If I walk past again and again
It's not that I don't recognize you
My past moved on without bringing me
So I jumped ahead without it
It's my world now
And you don't exist
Except to stare menacingly
Because I should say
What you refuse to say
But the trouble it would bring
Don't look at me
I won't look back
How tragic to be invisible!
