From the Mist
Waiting silently we lay
Mist surrounding bringing the others
The crying, wailing time to play
Bring us to life again
The blades and foliage sleep
As the oaks and birch loom
A clearness turns cloudy view
We know they are on their way
As it motions up across the skylined earth
The Baby screams for action
Our eyes fixed to the lonely sky
We see what we felt coming
Our ears alert to barks of many
Approaching in the wind
Our spirit hearts calling to our own
Our bodies solid from the ground we rest on
We’re a vision only to those who happened
We’re real for those we came for
We call back proud
To be part of us
The wolves in the mist who came
We saw we judged we removed
We changed
We join in the hunt of the wailing one
For at dawn we go back
To where we rose from again.
