My Engravings
Give me some time ,
To collect my engravings,
Keep the paper rubbings;
Paper burns and ink fades,
They’ll pristinely stay,
To remind and create more impressions;
No need to look back,
I got what I came for,
There’s nothing to look back on;
They’re etched so deep,
Time’s wear won’t matter,
So enjoy what I leave behind;
All new colors on better grade pad,
A different beauty,
For the ever curious world;
Just give some time,
To collect my engravings,
The real ones will always be mine.
