    Poem Commentary

    I tried to conjure up a lonely old man with nothing left but memories of his youthful loves. A kind of - ' Oh, I'll never forget whatsername.' In this case the loves all run together.

    To All Lost Loves

    I think of you so often
    As you've come and gone through years
    Those thoughts make my heart soften
    As I try to hold back tears

    The tenderness we both felt
    Still remains with me today
    A real love just does not melt
    But it stays on come what may

    Now it's all I have you see
    Those dear memories of you
    I wonder where you may be
    If your thoughts are of me too

    I really like this and think it could even be taken a step further. Say...'all' the loved ones of times past. But, I love what you've done here. GREAT POETRY.

    I had intended to call this To All Loves Lost. But I blew it. Wasn't paying enough attention. Glad you like it though.
