HE (a non-devotional poem)
HE
HE stood there inexperienced and young
A handsome man with a glib tongue
HE told us what we wanted to hear
HE offered us hope and HE soothed our fear
But HE has no experience, some people say
Still - we put HIM in office anyway.
So her we are with a fool now in charge
And he rushes around like the Dame Ms LaFarge
Deciding for all that HE knows what's best
HE wants us to be like all the rest
The world HE thinks now is his own Port O' Call
But this glib neophyte is going to fall
HE is doing the best HE possibly can
To bring down America and each American
But our Constitution is yet still in force
We don't want this young man. We want a divorce
Everywhere one looks HE's on the attack
But We The People - just want our country back
[All HEs are in capital, as HE would want]
