    Munchausen by Proxy




    Muncheusen by Proxy
    discribes our relationship
    to our religions.

    We are told we are sinners

    and admonished to come to church
    where we will be saved from the burners

    from some mythical boogey man

    And we keep coming
    and listening
    and putting money in the plate

    and feeling guilty

    for our imagined sins
    and being fearful for our fate

    As we love our captors

    That's a very cold outlook. Too bad that's all you see. I have yet to find perfection in anything, and doubt I ever will, but that doubt will not be what guides me.

    You are more perfect than you belief and more imperfect than what you wish to be. But religion will not help you... but no, it is not a cold outlook - and I see beyond our religions

    I'm not sure what I think of this piece. But I do agree with you very much sir. Life is perfect. Even though Iam not.

    somewhat viewed as imaginary friends that come to life through words in the pages can leave us confused and questions go unanswered.
