    Poem Commentary

    Colorado is so beautiful all through the year, but when Spirng finally arrives, it makes Winter worth it all. The dry air ameliorates all weather. Making winter less cold and summer less hot.

    Rockies in the Spring

    When it's Spring time in the Rockies
    To us it means there's still snow
    Nights are cool with pleasant days
    To us it's the only way to go

    Trails begin to open up
    The passes again go through
    Hibernation is over
    Our skies once again are blue

    Come on out to Colorado
    Come out to live near heaven
    There is so much here to do
    and we're here twenty-four seven

    I crossed the Denver Rockies one winter in an ' 84 T-bird. This makes me want to see them again. Drew.

    Sorry, Asha - them there's not mountains, them's hill. Mountains don't start until the timber stops.'-) The Smokey are beautiful, hot and humid. But this country is beautiful top to bottom...

    I am from Michigan, and we have a lot of snow...I never get tired of it. My friends live in Colorado and they love it! They have been there for thirty years. Your poem entices me.
