ONE OF MY MOST FAVORITE THINGS...

I love singing in the rain
I love dancing in the rain
    And thinking in the rain
In truth - anything done in the rain
Is done so much more completely

    Dressed appropriately
    There is only one thing
I can think of that is not enhanced
By rain - and that is eating
    (Unless it is done discretely.'-)

    I think of earlier days
When we laughed, and hugged, and kissed
And I'll tell you -That's at the Top of My List
    Just looking upon her face
Was glorified in the morning and evening mist

    It has always been important
One of the Four Basic Elements is Water
If Brother is Snow - Rain is surely God's Daughter
Found in rivers and lakes, fallen from the skies
And gently coming from the crevasses of these eyes

I'll, definitely, be saving this to read and cheer me up on a rainy day.

If it cheers you, that's wonderful. To me it was bitter sweet. I appreciate your visits, my friend.

I like to sleep in a storm as the thunder roars and the rain beats down in a steady drone. Around her it is not wise to stand in a thunderstorm with trees all about. Though, when I lived in Eugene, Oregon you learned to live in the rain or never do anything as it rain constantly during the rainy season. During the 1993 great flood in Missouri my ex-wife and I were camping during a tremendous rain storm. It rained 4 inches in an hour and our tarp over tent collapsed and tent smashed with us in it. It was a struggle and fun at the same time. Walk in love, peace and freedom, Olan

Thanks Olan - I lived in West Seattle for a few and the rain keeps EVERYTHING green, But in Colordo we have three seasons. I like that too.

You have placed a smile upon my face with this whimsical write...I so love the line..."If Brother is Snow - Rain is surely God's Daughter"....you brought me back to a time when playing in the rain as children was all it took to simply make my day....thanks for the glance back at innocence....this is a lovely write...Cher

    Thank you Dear Heart.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
