    • Lost in that Sunset forever (July 19, 2007), Why did you leave me on that roof?

    Where I stand right now...

    Here:

There are no mountains to hide the memories,

There are no clouds to hide my tears,

There are no Deserts to take my mind away from you,

    My heart yurns for peace,

    Can you save me?

I start the day with a broken heart and end it the same way,

I know you've watched me through out this entire thing,

As I hold onto "the nothing"

There are tree's here to close in a new beginging,

There are blue sky's here to look up to,

There are open plains here to ride lost into a new beginging (full of a new hope...)

To give a new end to a mis-justice....

I did not deserve what you did to me,

By NO means was it right or just,

    poor charater shown,

    lies deliverd to my heart,

I was a fool to trust you, to believe you...

I can feel the raw emotion here. I have experienced it myself. Iraq is a lonely place I guess... poor character does shine true in your darkest hours.... I do know that you can't hold on to something that's no longer there.

I do hope, that not all trust is lost, and that one day you will be able to again give yourself fully to another, who will appreciate you for the wonderful person you are!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
