Where he lays to rest
There was a cowboy that don’t drink
That cowboy doesn’t talk much
Keeps to himself
Goes out of his way to be left alone
Sits at an empty table
Keeps it that way
No one really knows his story
But they say there was another
They say he use to be the biggest hit in the club
Could out drink half the bar
By far the greatest dancer in the building
In his day
Use to be happy
Use to go out of his way to talk to everyone
Dam near everyone was his friend
So they say back in the day
Where he’s from, that was his way
Now half a continent away
He stays somewhere deep deep inside
A single time he slipped and said her name
Lost and quiet he disappeared to the floor
To her memory
What did she do to him
Where does he go to meet her
When he grace’s the floor with his steps
I hope he finds whatever it is he’s looking for when he’s on that floor
That cowboy doesn’t talk much
Keeps to himself
Goes out of his way to be left alone
Sits at an empty table
Keeps it that way
No one really knows his story
But they say there was another
They say he use to be the biggest hit in the club
Could out drink half the bar
By far the greatest dancer in the building
In his day
Use to be happy
Use to go out of his way to talk to everyone
Dam near everyone was his friend
So they say back in the day
Where he’s from, that was his way
Now half a continent away
He stays somewhere deep deep inside
A single time he slipped and said her name
Lost and quiet he disappeared to the floor
To her memory
What did she do to him
Where does he go to meet her
When he grace’s the floor with his steps
I hope he finds whatever it is he’s looking for when he’s on that floor
