When We Were Tight
When we became friends,
there seemed to be no end,
we were so close,
no one thought we were toasted,
in our friendship of trust,
we never thought of lies,
and we have some pride,
now I sit here and wonder why,
you lied,
and you lied,
I thought you were real,
so what is the deal,
why can you be tough,
and say please no rust,
you played me and tried,
to loosen the tie,
that kept us so tight,
I should have know it wasn't right,
you hurt so fry,
so long and good bye!
there seemed to be no end,
we were so close,
no one thought we were toasted,
in our friendship of trust,
we never thought of lies,
and we have some pride,
now I sit here and wonder why,
you lied,
and you lied,
I thought you were real,
so what is the deal,
why can you be tough,
and say please no rust,
you played me and tried,
to loosen the tie,
that kept us so tight,
I should have know it wasn't right,
you hurt so fry,
so long and good bye!
