Just One More GOD
GOD came from heaven and said to you,
"My son, well done, now let's go home,"
But then you said,
"oh please, dear GOD,
Just one more day, to see the sun,"
So GOD just smiled and said,
"All right, just one more day,
Then you will see the light,"
The next day came and GOD did say,
"My son come here,
It's time to come on home, my Dear,"
But then you said,
"Oh please dear GOD,
Just one more hour, to see the dawn,"
So GOD just smiled and said,
"All right, just one more hour,
Then you will see the light,"
The hour passed by and GOD said,
"Come here,
It's time to come on home without fear,"
Just before you began to beg,
I walked right in, you smiled and said,
"So now it's time to say good-bye,
For now, dear GOD, I see the light."
"My son, well done, now let's go home,"
But then you said,
"oh please, dear GOD,
Just one more day, to see the sun,"
So GOD just smiled and said,
"All right, just one more day,
Then you will see the light,"
The next day came and GOD did say,
"My son come here,
It's time to come on home, my Dear,"
But then you said,
"Oh please dear GOD,
Just one more hour, to see the dawn,"
So GOD just smiled and said,
"All right, just one more hour,
Then you will see the light,"
The hour passed by and GOD said,
"Come here,
It's time to come on home without fear,"
Just before you began to beg,
I walked right in, you smiled and said,
"So now it's time to say good-bye,
For now, dear GOD, I see the light."
