Always a Room With a 1
I haven’t seen you in a whileit’s been eleven long years since,
and tonight, for the first time
in a long time,
being with you feels like home.
Estranged;
but never the less a homeland.
We always tend to
end up in a hotel room
with a 1 on them.
always playing on the TV
something with Kurt Cobain,
and being with you again,
feels like home all over.
Sixteen years later,
No means for an end.
I think we understand
each other so well;
almost like we are one in the same.
I think that’s why
we both know undoubtably,
we could never be together;
like we once where
together again.
I will always love you
as you have a piece of my heart.
I know for certainty,
we will meet again in the future;
to travel to the past
in a room with a one
on it again.
