Get Unstuck
I need drugs.
Not because I want them;
More because my body can’t function
And craves them.
At the same time
As my mind tells me,
I can’t live without them.
We get stuck,
Then get boozed up.
It’s quite clear
Because of all the suffering,
There’s something wrong here.
So we retrain our thinking
And take charge.
Choose not to numb out
And try with all our mite
To get through it.
Fight like there’s no tomorrow.
Keep pushing forward,
Not stopping to turn
Our head to look back
At all the things that
Drove us here in the first place.
