Techno Bull

I ask you to call and you don’t
I ask you to text and you don’t
I ask you to e-mail and you don’t
Facebook, myspace, twitter
All these forms of communication
And I get no reply.
Am I being obsessive over eager?
Your bringing me in
Then kicking me out again.
We only have one life
According to you the moment
The timing was just right.
In a world of technology
I know the avoidance
Is for a reason.
Honest people don’t
Behave that way.
Even all the excuses
In the world
Don’t make a difference
At this point.
I guess something’s
Are better left unsaid.
Actions speak
Louder then words,
But from similarity;
Suddenly it feels as if
It’s the 1940’s again.

there's new forms of rejection and acceptance that comes with our world today. i love how you begin to tap into these mediums and are expressing feelings that could only have been brought by our modern technology. i've started to write in current times and im trying to tap into the same thing you are here. and its funny how these things can bring us back full circle. like your last line declares. great write. keep it up

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
