Lingering Thoughts
You linger in my mind
like a bad seed planted to grow in gardens
of tainted love and evil demise
You leave a stale taste in my mouth,
though it’s been so long I don’t remember
what tastes better?
You or those sour candies that sting
my teeth like tin foil.
And to remember is like regressing
all the hateful things in life.
Your relations
that form temptations in eyes of
perverted smiles.
So I move to a new place
too see the same situation in every
elongated day.
Do you think about then
as you swallow yourself in
arrogant cowardliness or do I
just believe too much.
Though not enough
is ringing stronger in my ears.
Just your mastodonic void
bubbled around my world,
my love.
My love is my child.
like a bad seed planted to grow in gardens
of tainted love and evil demise
You leave a stale taste in my mouth,
though it’s been so long I don’t remember
what tastes better?
You or those sour candies that sting
my teeth like tin foil.
And to remember is like regressing
all the hateful things in life.
Your relations
that form temptations in eyes of
perverted smiles.
So I move to a new place
too see the same situation in every
elongated day.
Do you think about then
as you swallow yourself in
arrogant cowardliness or do I
just believe too much.
Though not enough
is ringing stronger in my ears.
Just your mastodonic void
bubbled around my world,
my love.
My love is my child.
