You are my sunshine and my rainy day
Everyone knows me better than I know myself.
I'm a mourning dove with one red feather.
Doomed to close death.
Doomed to witness.
So far away from me.
Do you ever think of me, now that you're there?
I save life stories.
Insults cut and scar,
compliments like lotion,
sit on the surface,
and sweat away like make-up on rough,
patchy, acne scars.
And if I ever see you again.
I won't let you go.
I'm a mourning dove with one red feather.
Doomed to close death.
Doomed to witness.
So far away from me.
Do you ever think of me, now that you're there?
I save life stories.
Insults cut and scar,
compliments like lotion,
sit on the surface,
and sweat away like make-up on rough,
patchy, acne scars.
And if I ever see you again.
I won't let you go.
