Mental Rap
Sometimes I just have to let go.
Turn my iPod on to the last note.
Let anger out at the innocent.
Because the strangers never comforted.
I'd like to know what you saw.
The confided side you've seen in me.
Pretend I'm dizzy, roof-top falling
instead of climbing six foot trees.
Let it all out, let me try out.
Coping skills for the insane.
Screaming silently, while comforting,
those in much more pain.
Strangulation amidst passion.
I'm a stumble made into stepping stones.
I can't tell if I'm surrounded,
or if I'm walking sidewalks alone.
