Dissolving Paper Hearts
Though its been just a day since we last talked,
I went out in the pouring rain; made myself walk...to the guardrail,
And write down what I've made you go through.
I spend my whole day hoping that late at night,
When I crawl into bed and turn off my room's light,
That you're thinking of me, the way I think of you.
Can't believe that I've made such a stupid mistake,
The more that I give, the less they all take.
I feel more and more maturity; filling my veins.
Knowing that I've been so indecisive,
Hoping that people will move on and forgive.
Feeling emotions that must be growing pains.
