Fork in the Road
Whoever said, 'Don't cry unless I can see blood' never had a girlfriend.
Because everyone knows heartbreak hurts more than bloodshed.
Isn't it saddening, the youth of our past had more sense in these things?
So angst-filled with childhood woe that
inevitable butterfies attack us.
With stingers like wasps and bees.
Are we the future Shakespeares?
A lie of a few tears.
Overly dramatic?
Neon love affair.
Deny that I am selfish.
Modestly put down.
I'm sweet enough that you must constantly remind me.
Losing interest in me.
But I don't show that I'm also losing interest in you.
Whoever said 'it gets easy' should be put to shame.
We need to find people, a label to a face.
Crying as life crumbles.
Life cycle's to blame.
Sand is washing away,
everyday's the same.
Why can't I stop crying?
Here it goes again.
Heart beats are unstable.
As the insect people scramble.
Searching for the antidote to havic they have caused.
Unsure of direction.
So I sit and wait it out.
Wrong choice once again, I fear.
In search of protection.
Sucede away, you can't take it back now.
What you have lost here. Please let things go right for once.
I don't want hated for what I love.
They soon will despise again.
Roam in search of comfort,
though you'll never find it.
You are my priority, thou smallest little bug.
And other mistreat me.
And I shall repeat again.
The lyrics that your kids will sing
from the radio.
The meaning of my music, will go over their heads
but the sound will bother your ears as you drive.
Don't crash with anger.
You know you caused this feeling.
You know you did the damage.
You know you are the cause.
Goodbye life as I knew you.
Hello to stomach pains and fears.
Makes me sing, mascara tears,
placid on her face.
Drips cling to bed sheets.
Childhood fears.
